Pregnancy can be delightful yet it can be confusing for expectant mothers, due to various reasons and for the extra care that is needed during these special times. Their bodies are going through tremendous changes during this period that can be hard to deal with. Apart from the mental pressure from family and friends, their bodies, too, face changes like mood swings, cramps, or hormonal changes. This is where Prenatal yoga can help you deal with it all. Prenatal yoga is an age-old practice that helps combat the discomfort women face while making room for another life inside them. Enrolling in a Prenatal yoga class after 20 weeks of pregnancy under expert guidance will help an individual to relax their mind and body enabling the reduction of pregnancy-related complications while prepping the body for a smooth delivery. This also ensures a safe recovery for the mother postpartum. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is pivotal during pregnancy. Regular exercise, such as walking for 15-30 minutes post meals, is beneficial. Practicing Vajrasana aids digestion. Sleeping on the left side is recommended for better blood flow to the fetus.

Sleep deprivation and stress can have a detrimental impact on the body's healing process thus lot of rest is recommended. Also, one must avoid strenuous exercise & refraining oneself from eating junk food is also very beneficial. 

  • Squatting- Easier to give birth while squatting
  • Tailor sitting- Strengthen your thigh muscles, increase circulation with pelvis and relax the tissue.
  • Concentration on your breathing
  • Relaxation techniques are helpful in delivery as pain is known to increase tension.
